Clinics, osteopaths and private practices

A clinic website patients trust—and local SEO that helps them find it.

Neometa builds or rebuilds the site, then runs the treatment pages, location pages, Google Business Profile and ongoing search work that decide whether a patient two streets away finds you or the practice down the road.

The usual problems

What is normally wrong with a clinic website

Clinic sites tend to fail in the same five places. None of them is a design problem, which is why a redesign on its own so often changes nothing.

The website looks like a brochure, not a practice

Stock photography, no practitioners' faces, no fees, and no sense of what a first appointment actually involves. A patient choosing between three local clinics is looking for reasons to trust one of them, and a generic site gives them none.

Treatments are buried in a single page

One 'Our Treatments' page listing eight things means no page can rank for any of them. The searches are specific — 'sports massage', 'sciatica treatment', the town name attached — and they need pages that answer them specifically.

No location page worth ranking

Either there is no page for the town the practice serves, or there is one with a map embed and forty words on it. That page is what the local pack and the 'osteopath near me' searches land on.

The Google Business Profile is doing nothing

Half-filled categories, no services listed, no recent photos, and reviews nobody has replied to. For a single-site clinic this is usually the fastest-moving thing in the whole plan.

Booking takes three clicks and a phone call

Patients who found you at 10pm cannot ring the front desk. If the booking route is not obvious from the treatment page, the search work is filling a bucket with a hole in it.

Website design and patient trust

A patient is deciding whether to hand you their back

That is a higher-trust decision than most purchases a website has to support, and it is decided by specifics: who will treat them, what qualifications that person holds, what the first appointment involves, what it costs, and what happens if it does not help.

Practitioner photographs, registration numbers, real fees and a plainly written first-appointment page do more for conversion than any amount of visual polish. Clinical claims are written from what your practitioners tell us and signed off by you.

Treatment and location pages

One page per search worth having

Treatment pages

One per treatment patients search for by name, covering what it treats, what a session involves, who delivers it and what it costs.

Location pages

The town or borough page that the local pack and 'near me' searches land on. Parking, transport, opening hours and the practitioners who work there.

First appointment

The page that removes the reason to hesitate. What to wear, how long it takes, what happens afterwards.

Fees

Published. A clinic that hides its prices loses the patients who were going to book and keeps the ones who were going to haggle.

Internal linking

Symptom content pointing into treatment pages, treatment pages pointing into the location page and the booking route.

Local SEO and Google Business Profile

For a single-site clinic, this is usually the fastest lever

Most appointment-intent searches for a clinic resolve in the local pack rather than the blue links, and the local pack is decided by the Google Business Profile, the location page behind it, citation consistency and review activity.

Lind Street Osteopathy holds position 2.8 for ‘ryde osteopath’ at a 20.6% click-through rate on a Domain Rating of 2.6. That is what local search work looks like when it is aimed at commercial terms rather than traffic.

Local SEO for service businesses

What the local work covers

  • Google Business Profile categories, services and photos
  • Location page built to rank, not to hold a map
  • Citation consistency across UK directories
  • A review flow patients will actually complete
  • Replies to reviews, including the difficult ones
  • Local rank tracking by search term, not by average

Clinic work

Three clinics, three different search problems

A London practice with no link authority, a seaside town where the searches are few and worth a lot, and a rural catchment starting from nothing.

Monthly plans

What a clinic actually pays

Starter

WordPress SEO services

How it runs

What happens after you send the site

Nothing here needs a finished brief, a marketing plan, or a decision about which service you want.

  1. You send the website

Or say you have not got one yet. Simon looks at the site, the Google Business Profile and what the local search market actually looks like for your treatments.

  2. You get the three things worth fixing first

Within one working day, in plain English, with an honest view on whether that needs a rebuild, a monthly plan, or a smaller piece of work.

  3. The build or the fixes happen

Where a rebuild is right it is usually live within a few weeks. Where it is not, the technical and page work starts on the site you have.

  4. The local search work runs monthly

Profile, location page, treatment pages, content and reviews, with a monthly report you can read in five minutes and rank tracking by term rather than by average.

Clinic questions

Questions people usually ask us

On the monthly plans there is no build fee: the website, hosting, SSL and maintenance sit inside the plan, from £495 a month on Starter and £995 a month on Growth. The 12-month minimum term is what funds the build, and the website becomes 100% yours at month 12. A standalone WordPress build without a monthly plan is £2,500.
