Why this result matters

Top three for the searches that book appointments

Nobody types 'osteopath ryde' out of curiosity. These are people on the island looking for an appointment, which is the entire addressable market for a clinic this size.

What needed changing

Serena opened Lind Street Osteopathy in Ryde and needed people on the Isle of Wight to be able to find it. A new clinic has no reputation in search and no backlinks, and it is competing for a small pool of island-wide demand against practices that have been there for years. We had built the website in August 2025; the question by early 2026 was whether it could be made to rank.

What we did

The SEO engagement ran from February to May 2026, priced as a fixed four-month piece of work rather than a rolling retainer. We mapped the keywords and configured Yoast against them, then built the pages those searches actually want: separate condition pages for back pain, neck pain and headaches, hip pain, shoulder pain, and chronic pain, fibromyalgia and hypermobility, each written for Ryde, alongside service pages for sports massage and women's health and menopause support. We ran backlink research and handed Serena an action sheet she could work through herself, and we keep publishing the blog posts she writes and syncing her Google reviews to the site. Between April and July 2026 monthly organic clicks went from 73 to 153 and impressions from 1,027 to 3,183. Rankings only count if they turn into patients: in the week of 11 May 2026 Serena reported five new patient bookings from organic search, the most she had taken in a week. Those were separate from the Meta ads she was running herself at the time, which we did not manage.
